American Electric is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We are a licensed Class A Contractor #2705108908A and are insured by the Selective Insurance Group. A certificated of insurance is available on request. 

American Electric is licensed by the Virginia Department  of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) to provide Electronic Security Services, VA DCJS ID# 11-15110. American Electric also offers UL listed 24 hour local monitoring for security systems. 

All of our employees receive an extensive personal background check. Additionally, all employees are randomly drug tested on a continuing basis. Most of our employees hold or have held a US government security clearance. Electronic Security Technicians and all officers of the Corporation have completed a Virginia and FBI criminal background check. 

We value your privacy at American Electric and will not voluntarily disclose any information about your dealings with our firm. 

Payment is expected upon completion of our product unless other terms are specifically arranged prior to commencement of our work. American Electric will accept most major credit cards for an additional three percent (+3%) convenience fee.
